Leander Paes to Debut, Ameesha Opts Out!

With all of the few times that she does make news, having found predominant criticism posed against her professional and personal ways, Ameesha Patel sure ought to have been glad to making a comeback with a lead role in Ashok Kohli's upcoming venture titled Rajdhani Express.

However, the girl who saw early success with her debut in the Roshan's movie Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, and later saw the peak of acting career with Gaddar, has walked out of the project, wherein she was supposed to star opposite debutant and famous tennis star, Leander Paes.

Apparently, the script requires her to play a bold and audacious character, with a some far too intimate scenes, too much show of skin, and a persistent profanity in her jargon, with an aura of having no qualms about being at such clash with all ethics. Ameesha, we hear, although keen about getting her hands on a big lead role project, did not see herself fitting into the shoes of this character without being discomfited with it.

Consequently, she is no longer on the project, leaving both Kohli, and more importantly Paes in a lurch to have to hunt a new lady lead.

Meanwhile, Ameesha, whose integrity on the matter indeed impresses us, is nonetheless most highly recommended to find herself some work soon.
