Imran & Avantika's Wedding Plans!

It seems more and more celebrities no longer dream of the big, lavish wedding. As of lately, news keeps seeping in of many already being conducted under hushed tones. The reason? Actors now believe there is no need for half the industry to be called over just to see private vows being exchanged.

Another couple to add to the list of celebs planning to have a private affair is Imran Khan and his sweetheart Avantika. But along with the issues of wanting a small wedding, the actor has other problems to deal with as well.

Religion seems to be playing a big problem for him because while Imran is a Muslim, Avantika is a Hindu. Not wanting to direct one religion over the other for his wedding, the actor was left in a bit of a tight spot.

But behold! Here comes Danish Aslam, the director of Break Ke Baad, with a suggestion for Imran. He suggested that Imran should have a court marriage just like he did when he married Shruti Seth as even he was in the same situation.

Now that Imran's found a solution to his problem, the actor has zeroed in on the idea and will be conducting a quiet marriage with his fiance Avantika on the chosen date of 5th January 2011.
