'Arjun' was a smash hit when it was released. And now it will be
remade. The movie will be produced by Shivam Nair, it is rumoured that
Nikhil Dwivedi will play the role originally played by Sunny Deol. This
is the same Nikhil who made his debut in 'My Name is Anthony
Gonsalves', directed by E. Niwas. This transition from Anthony to Arjun
is exciting for the young actor, whose aim is to be the next Shah Rukh
Khan. He has two more films in hand, although he does not want to talk
about them yet.
Shivam Nair is prese, adminntly involved in Asthavinayak's Gujarati
play, 'Maharathi'. He says, "Yes, it is true that I am producing the
remake of 'Arjun'. Actually, it was Nikhil, who gave me the idea. I am
sitting with Pawan and rewriting the story to make it more relevant
today's time, and Anurag Kashyap is writing the dialogues." He adds
that he does not want to say anything else, because the rights of the
movie lies with Shah Rukh Khan's company, Red Chillies Entertainment.
He omits any mention of the cast, however.
