Bipasha bags the role!

With his upcoming film, Players, a remake of The Italian Job, Abbas-Mastan went for quite the drill hunting his leading lady. Katrina Kaif, and even Priyanka Chopra were considered initially, but it is Bong babe Bipasha Basu who finally bagged the role.

Others from the cast include Abhishiek Bhachchan, Bobby Deol, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and Sonam Kapoor - names we recognize well, and quite a few at that! 

 

Apparently, what did it for Bipasha was her performance in Dum Maro Dum, which left the deciding team duly impressed. For the uninitiated, the female protagonist aka Bips shall be seen playing a sensual beauty, with a sharp brain - the rare combination and who better to play the role than one who has played, both sexy and smart roles in turn, through the years.
