Shilpa and Jaya's Odissi

Shilpa Shetty and veteran actress Jaya Prada were recently in Kerala, learning the ins and outs of Odissi dance for their upcoming flick, The Desire.

The duo were under the watchful eyes of director R. Sarath, whose movie is a crossover with Indian and Chinese actors, and Guru Ratikant Mohapatra, the son of the late Odissi dance maestro Kelucharan Mohapatra. This Indo-Chinese movie, stars Chinese actor Xia Yu alongside Shilpa and Jaya.

Jaya was reportedly impressed with Sarath's directorial abilities, and is all set to produce a movie that he will direct. Being a producer has been on her to-do list for a while now, but time has always been an issue.

Meanwhile, this has to be yet another 'never-done-before' thing Shilpa Shetty gives herself to do, for has she not met so much luck in moving out of the norm and thinking out of the box in the past one decade?
