Lara joins Don 2!

Fans of Farhan Akhtar's Don will be relieved to know that the much awaited sequel, Don 2, is gearing up to hit the floors. And buzz is that Lara Dutta is the latest in the long line of beauties vying for Shah Rukh Khan's attention!

Joining the retained star cast of SRK and Arjun Rampal, the former Miss Universe will be playing another femme fatale, alongside the original lead Priyanka Chopra, although the exact nature of her character is being kept under wraps. Contrary to rumours, Lara will have a completely new part written in for her and will not be seen as a replacement for Eesha Koppikhar.

The actress is said to be excited about the action oriented role and will be undergoing martial arts training to prepare for the movie.

Incidentally, Don 2 will mark the second time that the former Miss Indias come together for a movie since their debut, Andaaz, which had been alongside Akshay Kumar that time.
