Any guesses as to why?

Well, the actor is involved in the
post-production of his second venture,
Agent Vinod - the movie
allegedly inspired from Hollywood's
Mr. and Mrs. Smith. There
have been alter reports too, stating that it is a typical remake of a
70's movie, with Kareena Kapoor playing a spy in a negative role. But
Saif rubbishes all that and claims it would be incorrect to call
Kareena's character 'negative' or even one of 'a spy'. Essentially an
action thriller, there is much more to
Agent Vinod, Saif
explains, than should be conjectured sans formal announcements from the
team itself.
In this formal tete-a-tete with Saif, he was questioned next about
the obstacles involved in production work. A positive and confident
Saif, (we put that to the success of Love Aaj Kal last year)
replied that the entire feeling of being in overall control was in fact
fun, as long as finances and affairs in totality were taken care of in
an organized way. When he mentions next, his delight at the Telgu remake
of his 2009 production debut Love Aaj Kal, we know we were bang
on spot guessing the source of his easy demeanor!
Questions don't end, cause there are the IPL rumors to be
addressed. Although his bid with lady love Bebo did not materialize for
either of the two new IPL teams introduced, Chote Nawab is not a
disappointed man. He clarifies that although he had shown keen interest
to pursue a franchise ownership, there was only so much he could dole
out in terms of budget constrains. And understanding that same, he
settles with IPL not being 'his cup of tea'. (Smart confession that,
Saif! What can't be attained, was never all the worth!)
Can he say the same about the Padma Shri Awards controversy? That,
Saif states, has been put behind him. He adds that he has always
remained diplomatic, and if the Government of India has chosen to bestow
this award on him, he accepts it graciously, and takes it that they
believe him to be worthy of the award. No more spoken, and no more
judgments!
We're glad Saif, that you come clear with the many
conflicts that involve your name. It presents a big clear picture, and
is indeed the right way! Meanwhile, here's wishing you the very best for
Agent Vinod!
