Edinburg's Mausam!

We've heard plenty about Mausam - a Pankaj Kapur directorial casting star son Shahid, who by the way has gone the lengths in un-toning his enviable physique for the heck of his role in Daddy's film. The role is that of a depressed male - details of his depression remain under wraps. We've heard of Shahid emphasizing what this project means to him, and how it will be his solo project after shoots commence. We've also heard of the female lead being Sonam Kapoor, after oh-so-many speculations!

And now, its time for lights, camera, action!

Latest weather, oops Mausam update tells us that the first stint of shooting is scheduled to be a trimester outdoor shoot. Venue - the wonderful English Edinburgh! Consequent schedules will move bases to Punjab, and later Mumbai - but while Edinburgh is base, we're certain the lass on sets, Missy Sonam Kapoor will have plenty in planning for shopping regimes!

Meanwhile, with Chance Pe Dance and Paathshala behind his back, both 2010 releases and average ones at that, Shahid is onto his promotional tours for the upcoming Badmaash Company, with co star, the lovely Anushka Sharma.
