Pregnant Mira Rajput Takes After Kareena Kapoor's Maternity Style

In India, Kareena Kapoor Khan is the idol of inspiration we always wanted for every pregnant woman and new mother on the block with dreams and ambitions while, Shahid Kapoor's biwi, Mira Rajput Kapoor, a symbol of traditional, stay-at-home mommies, dedicated only to raising their kids. We can't help but rehash that time when Mira's statement on moms, babies and puppies, found her caught in the wrath of working women at large. That was totally unintended and uninvited on Mira's part. However, that is not what we are focusing on today.

Since the situation is now less of a competition and more of an inspiration, as we are looking at this latest maternity look of Mira accompanied by Shahid that recaps one airport spotting of Kareena when she donned a salwaar suit to board a flight. Looks like Mira is literally following suit after Kareena's ethnic suit-clad maternity style statement.  

Here's rehashing that picture of Bebo when she was donning the Indian-take on ballerina flats aka mojris, floral printed kurta, matching straight-fit pants and trying to cover her baby bump when she was expecting our little munchkin Taimur Ali Khan. 

Here's the fresh new snap of the second-time parents-to-be Shahid and Mira at the airport. Like Kareena once did, Mira too was wearing a similar outfit. However, it was a nude pair of ballerina shoes, elegant salwaar kurta, and her efforts to cover (or should we say flaunt) her baby bump with a dupatta. Either way, we are excited to have another celebrity kid to crush on.

Nowadays there are many western maternity wear options for pregnant women in India, but the good-old salwaar-kameez ensemble is by far the most comfortable and classic one. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below...
