Till now it was only the bollywood actors turning to ‘sardars’ for the movie but, to join this turban bandwagon is the queen of the heart of million fans, Rani Mukerji. The actress disguises herself as a ‘Sardar’ for the Yash Raj’s next along with Shahid Kapur. The film is yet untitled and is directed by Anurag Singh.

Rumour has it that Rani plays a character that is very fanatic about cricket and can go to any extent to play it. This obsession towards cricket drives her to disguise herself as a man and enter an all male team.

The film is a romantic-comedy with sport as a setting and is speculated to be based on Hollywood flick ‘She’s The Man’ where the actress dress up like a man to enter into local soccer team.

However, it is known that the film is not exactly the remake of Hollywood movie but there are many similarities between the two films.
