Gabbar is Back: Shruti Hassan

The beginning of the month saw the release of Krish's Gabbar is Back starring Akshay Kumar and Shruti Haasan. It's not everyday that BollyCurry's Fashion Police is full of praise for someone, but it seems that Shruti Haasan has managed to do just that. With her weird and out-of-the-box fashion choices, one would expect Haasan to score low on the our scales. Surprisingly however, as we look back at some of her attires, we think she aced it.

Now, the flowery attire is not something that everyone can pull off, but Haasan not only looked stunning, but completely rocked the Arpita Mehta Spring 2015 collection dress consisting of a mirror detail crop top and a nude tulle lehenga skirt, while promoting on the sets of Dance India Dance. Add to it a very natural looking colour on the lips, soft, wavy hair, and Outhouse jewellery and you've got the perfect look! Rating: 5/5

Continuing to flaunt the flowery mood, Haasan donned a printed crop top and skirt from Aartivijay Gupta's summer/resort 2015 collection. She added to the Summery and tropical look with wild hair, bright red lips, Christian Louboutin red pumps, and large red earrings. While this is a bit of an odd design, we must say that Haasan once again has earned our approval for her creative choice. We really would have liked a bracelet or two, though. Rating: 4.5/5

Haasan then appeared in another promotional event in a Neha Agarwal long sleeve dress with side cut-outs. This was once again from the summer/resort collection. The flowery appearance and the rainbow ambiance gives the impression that Haasan truly loves colours. She looked stunning in this very bright and colourful dress. Haasan paired the looked with slightly wild hair, red lips, and small inconspicuous earrings. We do wish she would have added a dainty silver chain or pendant necklace, but nonetheless she deserves all the praise. Rating: 4.5/5

Haasan then went on to make a promotional appearance in the popular comedy show, Comedy Nights with Kapil, where she once again donned floral. The dress was by Shilpa Reddy from her New York collection. She added long gold earrings and beach-style wavy locks to complete the look. Ms. Haasan, we really do need to know who your designer is because this is the first and only time that Fashion Police is having such a tough time giving any rating less than perfect! Rating: 5/5

Finally, we bring to you the only non-colourful look, which Haasan donned in Gurgaon. Appearing with Akshay Kumar, Haasan wore a beaded crop top and printed skirt by Kanika Goyal. The look is so simple that we can only approve of the silver and black runner she donned. A perfect summer outfit, the beach-style wavy hair and black sunglasses once again reminded us that Haasan is all about the summer look. Ms. Haasan, we approve. For the fifth time! Rating: 5/5

There is no doubt that Ms. Haasan has left BollyCurry's Fashion Police awed with her display of attires for the promotional spree of Gabbar Is Back. We're begging for her stylist's name; for us to praise fashion choices so much and to have our ratings to dwell in the higher ranks is nothing short of a miracle. Ms. Haasan has proven that she is a true fashionista in the making and we eagerly await future appearances.
