Fashion Face-Off: Deepika Padukone vs. Kangana Ranaut

What could be worse for a Bollywood celeb than a fellow actor wearing the same dress? That too wearing it better! Considering the options they have on hand, we'd think no two stars would be caught donning the same look. But that is not the case, and we are glad for it! As the celebs (and their stylist) sweat in horror of these fashion flubs, it's a great chance for the Fashion Police to sit back, relax and decide - who wore it better!

First off we have Deepika Padukone. The leading lady of many directors was seen at the Tanishq IVA Launch in January last year wearing a Dolce & Gabbana dress with beige lace detailing on the bodice. She paired the dress with nude peep-toe heels - no a surprise there. While a pair of nude shoes is a wardrobe staple, we are getting rather tired of Padukone's boring taste in footwear. The minimal make-up kept her looking fresh but the hair hanging loose was dull and not happening. We don't deny it, she looked good. When does she not? But this look was nothing special.

On the other hand, Kangana Ranaut was spotted in the exact same outfit earlier on the year. Seen in ditto Dolce & Gabbana separates just this past February, the chic star was invited as the guest of honour to the Hello! Classic Cup. What set her appearance apart though was the cream fascinator that matched the lace detailing on her dress, which featured just a little lower than Padukone's. The look was fresh, casual, appealing, natural and unique, all qualities we admire.

It should come as no shocker when we declare the winner of this round of face-off as none other than the Queen herself, Kangana Ranaut. With that charming smile and elegant fascinator, the actress could effortlessly slot herself amongst British royalty and no one would recognize the difference. But don't take our word for it.
