Fashion Face-Off: Kareena Kapoor Khan vs Priyanka Chopra

Let's talk lace, which is this Fall's hottest trend. While lace is typically associated with hot summer months, the truth is, it has no season. Bollywood celebrities have embraced and rocked the trend all year long and facing off in this battle of lace are two of the most recent looks.

First up is Kareena Kapoor Khan who was photographed in a red lace Dolce & Gabbana dress on November 6, 2013 on Kaun Banega Crorepati promoting her upcoming film, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein. The dress was paired with a black slip, had loosely fitting sleeves and sat few inches below the knee. Hair up in a sleek ponytail, gold earrings from Viange and the delicate black strappy sandals completed her look perfectly.  While this maybe a new look for her, Mrs. Khan pulled it off beautifully. 

Facing off with Kareena in this lace battle is desi girl herself, Priyanka Chopra. Ms. Chopra wore an emerald green lace dress from The Source while joining Nita Ambani at a health initiative event. The short sleeved dress hit all the right places and accentuated her figure perfectly.  Priyanka pulled her hair back in a sophisticated up do and accessorized with a pair of gold hoop earrings and a green cocktail ring from Viange. Unfortunately, the black suede pointy toe ankle-strap pumps were a tad too bold for this outfit and detracted attention away her pretty face.
 

This fashion face-off certainly came down to the choice of footwear. While Kareena's sandals her complimented her look, Priyanka's pumps were a major distraction and might the Fashion Police add, an eye sore that cost her this lace face-off.
