It's
IIFA time again! The International Indian Film Awards were held in Macau
this year and our favorite Bollywood stars spilled out on it's famous
green carpet in all their finery and splendor. But did they do justice
to their outfits where your trusted Fashion Police is concerned? Read on
to find out.
The
'Hawa Hawai' girl was seen tagging along with her eldest daughter
Jhanvi, and what a sight both ladies were. While
Sridevi donned a
strapless embellished column
gown styled with a side-swept hairdo, beautifully prominent red lipstick
and a
trendy tube clutch, Jhanvi was seen in a chic strapless sky blue dress
which
did all the justice to this young beauty. A special mention to those
beautiful
white heels. Two beauties dressed perfectly surely made heads turn!

Amrita opted for a Jade Inanna gown and we can say we're none too please
with the end result. The gown is too long, too flowy and does not
accentuate her natural
curves and features. Her hair and jewelry are neither befitting the
occasion nor enhancing her beauty either but tiny brownie points for the
makeup. The southern star could have done much
better, as we all have been previous witnesses to.

Can slings actually work in your favor? Well if you
are the King Khan, then definitely yes! Keeping that aside, SRK was seen
sashaying in the traditional three piece shiny black suit finished with
a bow tie,
and it completely complimented the Baadshah. He once again proved
just why is he still the ultimate heartthrob, but we're not too sure
about all that facial hair. Here's hoping it's for a film project and
not a general pass time, and please opt for a more formal pair of shoes
for the next event!

Sophie Chowdhary

Sophie
Chowdhary donned a Rakesh Agarwal Cleopatra style gown which we have to
say wasn't the most tasteful choice at the Green Carpet. The dress can
be seen in different ways but from the way we see it, we don't like it.
Those straps at the back and front manage to make this dress seem
somehow suffocating. Though on the plus side, the hairdo is absolutely
gorgeous!

The Kaminey of Bollywood
too chose the traditional black suit with the bow tie, and no doubt he
looked
dapper. The red wine colored bow is a nice change from the monotone of
all round black but we're not a big fan of the size of it. It may be the
main feature of his outfit but if Shahid was aiming for a slightly
goofy look, the size makes sure he manages that.

Vidya is known for her choice of traditional taste, and IIFA was no exception. The actress chose a Anand Kabra lehenga,
which didn't quite grace the beauty nor elegance of this current
leading lady. There are slight fitting issues where the blouse is
concerned and the drape seems a little lackluster. The lehenga in itself is quite nice, though it could have been better.

Though Fardeen hasn't
achieved much success on the silver screen, he sure knows how to woo people by
living in style. His well tailored black suit mixed with a cream colored tie
and accessorized matching color handkerchief popping out of his pocket made him
look suave, dapper and much in vogue!

Anushka Sharma, known to be a diva high on style quotient, this year went bland with a plain and
simple Roberto Cavalli gown. There was hardly any contrast color, either with
her makeup or with her dress and not to mention the plain Jane hairdo. This one
failed to create any lasting impact whatsoever. We wonder what's happened with this
Vogue girl who's normally so on point?

Dia is the ultimate
beauty who understands fashion, knowing how to pick her outfits and
where to don them. In a gorgeous champagne hued tulle gown by Ayesha
Depala, she once again proved why she is always one of
the few celebs to look out for at events like these. The hair
could have been tailored more accordingly but the overall persona of
this calm elegance trumps all.
