A sudden shift from small screen to big screen. How does it feel?

It's a different excitement. I am very happy and nervous too because it's my first release. I feel it's a great move in my career and a step towards promotion.

How this project turned to you?

It turned out to me suddenly. The director of the film Hemant Prabhu once called me up and told that he wanted to cast me in his film to play a role like that of a girl next door. So I went in for auditions and after giving two auditions I was selected in the third one.

What is this movie all about?

This movie is a unusual romantic thriller, it has romance, it has suspense and of course as the name suggest 'Lottery' its about money and chasing money.

What kind of role you play in the movie?

My character name is Soha. She is shrewd, simple and has a girl-next-door kind of personality. She helps out Rohit when he is stuck in chain of events and helps him understanding the situations.

You had an acting background while your co-star Abhijit Sawant is a singer. So was it difficult to shoot with him?

Not at all, both of us acted as per the instructions of our director. As an actor Abhijit have worked hard towards his role, he also done acting workshops before. Both of us have not taken up the movie just for the sake of taking it but we have worked towards it.

What's next for you after 'Lottery'?

'Lottery' is a turning point of my career at present I completely bank on it. Also there are couple of scripts I am going through.
