SLIDESHOW
Bengali babe
Bipasha Basu has officially gone global! The shooting of her first Hollywood project
Singularity is well underway.
Starring as a Tulaja Naik, a Marathi warrior who falls helplessly
in love with a young British Captain, played by Hollywood hunk Josh
Hartnett, the movie is about the first Anglo-Maratha war and the
impossibility of love to bloom between the two fateful enemies. Set
against the backdrop of Poona, India, 1978, the movie also stars Abhay
Deol in a pivotal role and is being capably directed by the
French-English filmmaker, Roland Joffe.
Bips recently tweeted that she is both nervous and excited about
doing the film. Her anxieties were not exactly quelled when she finally
reached the Australian location chosen for shooting (the flight playing
spoilsport with a 12 hour delay). Consequently, Bips spent the entire
time tired and still nervous at a transit hotel in Singapore.
However,
judging by the film's gorgeous promotional pics she shared via her
Twitter account, we say she has nothing to worry about!
