Deepika's fan mail surprise!

Deepika's skirt in Dum Maro Dum is the latest buzz in B-town!

 

As a high ranking B-Town celeb and with an ever-growing fan base, it is expectable that Deepika Padukone receives a huge amount of fan mail everyday. The actress even has a whole system in place for this feat where all her mail is placed in a special room. Whenever she has ample free time, Deepika personally sits and reads through them all and if time permits, Dips sometimes replies to her fans as well.

 

Now, one would anticipate the mails to consist of the usuals: soft toys, chocolates and greeting cards etc, all in aid of fans professing their love for the actress. So just imagine Deepika's surprise to find skirts in her fan mail!

 

 

According to sources, when the actress opened her recent fan mail, she was shocked to find nine skirts sent to her as this is the first time she has received such gifts. The skirts vary in length, with some being extremely long while others are short.

 

Deepika, who has recently returned home from her Aarakshan shoot in Bhopal, is attributing the gifts to her Dum Maro Dum item number. The lyrics in the song refer to her skirt: "...aaj mere liye chair khich raha hai, kal meri skirt khichega. Khichega ki nahi...". Is this her fans' precaution of making sure her skirt is of the right length if someone does decide to tug at it?!

 

Another possible meaning to the gifts could be that while some fans might have liked her sexy look, others want otherwise and wish the actress to cover up!
