Sonali Bendre celebrates Diwali with family; calls it UNCONVENTIONAL

Sonali Bendre is a fighter and we know it. Her positive attitude towards a deadly illness like Cancer is winning hearts over the internet. Much to our delight, Sonali is updating her fans about her health and also her journey against the illness.

As we celebrate the much-celebrated festival of the year - Diwali, Sonali too with her husband Goldie Behl and son Ranveer Behl performed Diwali pooja at their home in New York City. Along with the photos, she captioned the image, "Diwali in New York happens much later than in Mumbai... Hence the late wish! It was quite an unconventional one... We didn't have Indian clothes, we had a small puja... But it was all heart.

Talking about her health, the 43-year-old actress was diagnosed with metastatic cancer in July. Since then the actress is in NYC for her treatment. Further updating about her health, Sonali's husband Goldie Behl had posted on Twitter, "Thank you all for the love and support for Sonali. She is stable and is following her treatment without any complications. This is a long journey but we have begun positively".

Bendre doesn't miss out on sharing her journey with her fans and well-wishers and we are glad for that. She recently posted a picture of her chilling with Priyanka Chopra and Neetu Kapoor from Chopra's bridal shower. Neetu is also in NYC as her husband Rishi Kapoor is undergoing treatment for an illness not yet disclosed by the family.

Dressed in a beautiful red dress, Sonali posted, "It's always lovely to be part of someone's special moment and more so when it's a dear friend. What a fabulous evening @priyankachopra!!! Your bridal shower was filled with so much love and laughter. I wish all that and more for you as you take this next big step. Big hug and much love.
