Here's what the PM of Italy has to say about Deepika-Ranveer wedding

Deepika Padukone - Ranveer Singh's wedding in November is the touted as the biggest wedding and news of 2018. Much to their fans delight, the couple a few days ago finally posted an official confirmation about their marriage which has got the nation doing the happy dance.

Last year, it was the beautiful couple Anushka Sharma - Virat Kohli who got married at this breath-taking destination and since then it has become every Bollywood celeb's favourite place. It came as no surprise that Deepika - Ranveer chose this place as their wedding destination.

In a recent conversation with Italian PM Giuseppe Conte, India Today happened to ask him about Italy being an extraordinary destination and how it is very easy to fall in love with Italy's countryside cities.

To this, he said, "Italy has always been an extraordinary destination. Think about the Grand Tour, extremely popular throughout the 18th century. Our millenary culture, the sense of hospitality, the breath-taking landscapes, fashion, design, cinema and gastronomy are just a few of the factors so powerful to magnetise and entertain the visitors from across the world."

"I am quite sure that also the Bollywood celebs share my thoughts and just fell in love with our countryside villages so rich in traditions. Our unique and vivid cities are made even more precious by the warmth and welcoming smiles of the locals and our mountains, so similar to the Himalayan range. So, who doesn't want to celebrate one of the best days in life in such a heavenly scenario?", he added.
