Neil Nitin Mukesh who was expecting his first child with wife Rukmini was blessed with a beautiful baby girl on September 20, 2017.

The actor had announced the news through his twitter post that read: "Rukmini (Neil's wife) and I are proud to announce the arrival of our darling daughter, Nurvi. The entire Mukesh family is elated."

Rukmini delivered the baby at the Breach Candy Hospital here in Mumbai on Thursday.

"Both mother and daughter are well by the grace of God," the actor added.

In a statement released earlier, Neil had shared that he and his family considers his baby daughter as Ganpati Bappa's blessings.

Now, a few minutes back, the actor revealed his baby daughter's name through an Instagram post. The couple has named their little princess: "Nurvi Neil Mukesh".

Neil's post read: "Rukmini and I are proud to announce the arrival of our darling daughter, Nurvi. The entire Mukesh family is elated. Both mother and daughter are well by the Grace of God"

In April, Neil had announced via Instagram that they were going to become parents soon, and that they were "very excited" for the next phase in their life.

Neil married Mumbai-based Rukmini in February 2017. It was an arranged marriage and they had a courtship of one month.
