Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan and three of his friends went on a legal wild boar hunting expedition back in 2013 at Carpathian mountains in Sfantu Gheorghe (Romania). The actor and his friends visited the Mountains of Carpathian for the expedition from 29th November to 2nd December 2013.
However, over after two months, the Mumbai Police Crime Branch failed to respond to a questionnaire sent by the Bulgarian judicial authorities in connection with the actor.
The Nawab allegedly failed to make a full payment for the wild boar hunting expedition. Moreover, the Interpol recently sent a reminder in June this year to the crime branch demanding for swift action to seek the actor's statement.
While the Interpol sent a questionnaire on behalf of the Bulgarian judicial authorities, Saif responded mentioning that he was out of the country and needed time to recollect the incident as it took place in 2013.
Regardless, Crime Branch received the questionnaire, an officer confirmed that the actor is yet to reply. The officer confirmed that, "The hunting cost them around 24,000 euros, of which 14,000 euros was paid in cash by the actor. However, after he left Bulgaria, the company contacted him again asking for the full payment. He informed that the money was transferred to the agent's account."
The actor along with his three friends was booked by an agent and a questionnaire was served for them to answer. The police mentioned that the questionnaire consisted of 15 questions regarding their trip to Romania and the hunting expedition through the Bulgarian company which dated back to 2013.
However, the middleman failed to make any further payments to the Bulgarian authorities. A senior police official confirmed that the reminder was sent to crime branch but, the questionnaire still remains unanswered.
While the actor did not respond to numerous calls and messages, his manager said Khan was busy working and would not comment on the matter.
