Shahid Kapoor - Kiara Advani to feature in Prabhudeva's HIT number

Reprised versions of songs have become a trend these days. After songs like Humma Humma, and the recently super-hit recreated song 'Dilbar' became instantly popular, Prabhu Deva's famous song 'Urvashi' is all set for a recreation.

News has it that the 'High Heel' and 'Blue Eyes' fame singer Honey Singh is making a comeback in the industry and will be recreating Prabhu Deva - Nagma starrer song 'Urvashi' from 1994 hit Tamil film 'Kadhalan'. And featuring in this music video will be ace dancer Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani.

Confirming the news, Kiara revealed to Pinkvilla, "I know the pressure one goes through when a classic song is recreated. There will be comparisons. This could be my ode to Prabhu sir, I am his huge fan."

When further asked how she felt working with Shahid Kapoor, she added, "We all know Shahid is a great dancer, I was nervous about matching up to his skills, but he was super fun to work with. We were in sync from the word go".

Sanjay Shetty, the choreographer of this video also commented on this recreated version. He stated, "We've changed the lyrics, but the hook line remains the same. The song, however, doesn't showcase a love story but a new-age relationship between Shahid and Kiara. Even the choreography is contemporary. We are shooting on a club set in Film City. We also filmed in a parking lot on Sunday to give the video an underground kind of a feel".

He called Shahid Kapoor a Rockstar and Kiara Advani a fabulous dancer! An official announcement from the makers is yet to be released.
