Anil receives a thumbs up from the biggest critics for his performance

There is no denying that Anil Kapoor is one of the finest actors the country has ever produced. He has dabbled in a variety of genres and aced them all, honing his art and bringing a unique finesse to each character he has played. Only goes to show why even after 40 years of an illustrious career, the superstar continues to remain a favorite with the critics.

As his recent release Fanney Khan hit theatre screens yesterday, the actor walked away with commendable reviews -

Says Anupama Chopra, "After 38 years of being a leading man, Anil Kapoor has a likability and a dignity that makes you instantly care about him. Kapoor saab as I call him stands tall in Fanney Khan".

Adds Rajeev Masand, "Anil Kapoor succeeds in leaving his stamp all over the film, making your heart go out to the selfless man".

Next up for the star is Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, which brings back the nostalgia of "1942 : A Love Story" but this time around, with a "siyaapa" twist.
