Mika Singh ROBBED of jewellery and cash worth 3 Lakhs; Details Inside

In a recent turn of events, Mika Singh who is popular for giving his voice to many peppy numbers in Bollywood got robbed of jewelry worth Rs 2 Lakhs and Cash worth Rs 1 Lakh from his Mumbai residence on a Sunday afternoon.

The singer through his manager has filed a complaint with the Oshiwara Police Station about the theft that took place at around 2 pm. A report in Mumbai Mirror reveals that "The police suspects one of Mika's aides named Ankit Vasan (27) who hails from Delhi. The CCTV footage showed Ankit entering and leaving Mika's Enclave building around 3-4 pm on the same day".

A police officer further informed the tabloid, "His manager has informed us that they were unable to trace Ankit's whereabouts following the theft on Sunday evening. Even the building's watchmen were familiar with the suspect and so, he was never stopped from entering or leaving the building".

The police officials were informed that Ankit Vasan used to stay at Mika Singh's studio in Andheri and he also had access to the singer's house, the report added.

About the development, in this case, Sailesh Pasalwar, a senior police inspector at Oshiwara Police Station stated, "A case under section 381 (theft by clerk or servant) of the IPC has been registered against Ankit. We are trying to trace him."
