A sequel to Ready is on the charts for Salman Khan? Tells the director

Salman Khan came up with flying colors in his first stint in a comedy film. Ready became a hit and Salman was showered with a rainbow of praises for his choice of role. The movie was much loved by the audience and the comic timing of Dabangg star was hysterical. Now that Salman is having a plethora of films on his platter, the makers of Ready are working on the sequel.

Talking about it, Bhushan Kumar told a leading daily,

"We are in talks with Salman Bhai and Anees Bhai for Ready 2. We are waiting for the script to get ready so that we can take it forward."

Director Anees Bazmee also told an entertainment portal,"Bhushan Ji and I have been in talks for a few months now. He had also been interested in making Ready 2 for quite some time. Things are looking positive after our most recent meeting. I haven't met Salman bhai to discuss dates and other details yet. Taking the film on the floors will depend on his availability."

If the movie is made, Salman fans who are waiting to see him in a comic role would be thrilled. For now, he will be seen in Bharat directed by Ali Abbas Zaffar. It is a remake of a Korean film, An ode to my father. It stars Priyanka Chopra and Disha Patani and is shelved for Eid 2019.
