Speaking of Shahid Kapoor, the actor who was going to put up a power-packed performance at IIFA 2018 backed out at the last moment due to injury. A source had revealed, "It was while attempting a tricky step that he suffered a back spasm and was advised against any strenuous activity by the doctor. Although Shahid was scheduled to fly out to Thailand last night, he called off the plan. The IIFA organizers were fairly understanding about it".

But, now the actor despite his injury was snapped at the Airport today while taking off to Thailand for this award function. Mira Rajput Kapoor who otherwise accompanies Shahid at his professional events, will not be joining him for IIFA 2018 at Bangkok.

At the IIFA press conference, Shahid had revealed why Mira and daughter Misha Kapoor won't be joining him. He had revealed, "I don't know if my wife and my child will join me because we usually decide just before if she feels well, she will, if she doesn't, she won't. I will definitely be there".
