Sanah Kapoor signs a new film, titled 'Saroj Ka Rishta'

Shahid Kapoor's younger sister Sanah Kapoor, who made her acting debut with Vikas Bahl's 2015 dud 'Shaandaar', has not had a smooth sailing in showbiz. While her debut vehicle turned out to be a disappointment of a colossal degree, her second outing 'Khajoor Pe Atke' did not set the cash registers jingling either.

However, things might take a positive turn for the newcomer now as she has been roped in to play the female lead in an upcoming Bollywood flick, titled 'Saroj Ka Rishta'. As the name suggests itself, the film revolves around Sanah's character and her wedding.

Spilling some more details, a source close to the project reveals to India-Forums that the movie tells the story of a rich girl who is not bothered about her overweight at all.

"The film tells the story of an overweight girl called Saroj. She gives no damn to her extra curves and shape, while her family is constantly worried about her marriage. How her family is going to find a perfect match for her, forms the crux of the story," informs the source.

Talking about the other star cast of the movie, we hear that 'Saroj Ka Rishta' is going to be a two-hero project and 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' fame Sunny Singh is in talks to come onboard to play one of the male leads. Search for the second male lead is still on.

An official announcement is awaited, though.
