Did Ranbir OFFICIALLY ask out GF Alia on New Year's Eve last year?

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's relationship has been the talk of the town lately. Not only the industry insiders but the fans of the two also couldn't stop gushing over this adorable couple. Alia who often remained silent when quizzed about Ranbir, it was beau Ranbir who chose to make it official with his ladylove.

None the less, the couple is in a happy space now and have been working on their first film together 'Brahmastra'. Seems like the couple is getting ample of time to nurture their new relationship. Team Brahmastra including Ranbir, Alia and Amitabh Bachchan recently started filming for the second leg of the film.

Ranbir and Alia on the first day of the shoot were snapped leaving together in one car from a popular Mumbai studio post pack up. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, "The couple enjoyed a lunch outing from the sets of Brahmastra yesterday during the break. The lovebirds arrived at a plush restaurant in the suburbs. They spent close to an hour at the restaurant. They ordered truffle fries, pork belly buns, scrambled eggs and duck salad".

Alia was dressed in an ethnic outfit while beau Ranbir opted for casuals in a white tee and denim. As per the source who revealed to Mumbai Mirror, "The couple may have made their relationship official just recently, but Ranbir Kapoor had asked out Alia Bhatt on New Year's Eve last year. Ranbir and Alia had accompanied director Ayan Mukerji for a recce to Bulgaria".

Further, the report reveals, Ranbir had already informed his soccer buddies about his relationship status after returning from Bulgaria. Ranbir Kapoor's mother Neetu Kapoor's trip to Bulgaria had coincided with Alia Bhatt's 25th birthday.
