
Aamir Khan has successfully completed thirty years in the Hindi film industry. Looking back at his journey so far in the filmdom, during his recent media interaction the actor revealed many unknown facts of his life and career.
To celebrate the thirty successful and glorious years of Aamir in Bollywood, a special interaction was set-up with the star and during his interview with the media folks, Aamir revealed how much he was paid for his first film '
Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' which despite being his debut film became a super hit film back then.
The recipient of the Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awards, Aamir built his career of three decades brick by brick with conviction and by setting an example for himself, to push himself to reach the top.
"After 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' (first commercially hit film), though I had a successful film, did not have money to buy a car. I used to use public transport until I started getting mobbed by people who recognised me in public," said the filmmaker who started his career by earning Rs 1,000 per month for his first film.
"I earned Rs 11,000 for QSQT," smiled Aamir whose film "Ghajni" created the '100 crores club' in Indian cinema.
