Deepika Padukone has signed her next film and we have all the DETAILS!

Deepika Padukone, the queen of Bollywood, started 2018 on a great note with her phenomenal performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmaavat'. Post this, she was roped in for Vishal Bhardwaj's next opposite her Piku co-star Irrfan Khan but given to the actor's ill health, the untitled film has been kept on a hold now.

Since this, Deepika hasn't signed any other project and her fans cannot wait to see their favourite actress on the silver screens. Many stated that Deepika has taken a break to prepare for her big wedding in November with beau Ranveer Singh. Now we hear that Padukone has signed her next film which is reported to be a super hero film.

A report in Filmfare reveals, "After going through several scripts, Deepika has finally locked one and this is a massive superhero film. Deepika will have various action scenes which fans haven't seen her doing before. The untitled film will be produced by Fox Star and she's quite excited about it already".

The report further informs that Deepika and the team are yet to make a formal announcement, but it is believed that Deepika has given her nod to the project.

Earlier than this news, in her recent interview to Film Companion, Deepika Padukone had expressed, "I can't tell you how many people have said, "Can you do another Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani?" But people aren't making that many love stories anymore. Everyone is making sports biopics. I want to do something fun and light - that's my brief! And that hasn't come as yet".
