Casting Couch has been a long-discussed issue in the world of Bollywood. While many Bollywood celebrities have faced the wrath of supporting casting couch, many other celebrities like Richa Chaddha among others have expressed theirdisappointment on the same.
According to a report in Bollywood Bubble, Alia Bhatt in a candid interview while promoting her upcoming film 'Raazi' revealed that casting couch does exist in Bollywood. She further stated that she luckily never had to face anysuch uncomfortable situations in her career so far. She even admitted that it's not just girls who face this problem as these days boys too are becoming a victim of the casting couch.
Apart from expressing her opinion on this issue, the actress also stated solutions to end this phenomenon that exists in Bollywood. She suggested how such problems can be solved and said that first and foremost the victim should disclose and discuss everything with their family and if the need arises then they should definitely file a police complaint.
We are grateful that the actress did accept that casting couch exists whereas other celebrities refrain commenting on such a sensitive and a controversial issue.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt will next be seen in Raazi which is slated to release on 11th May. Apart from this, Alia has an interesting line up of films like Gully Boy, Brahmastra and Kalank.
