This is what Katrina has to say about Varun for their next film!

Recently, during an interaction with Hindustan Times when Katrina was asked about working with Varun, she stated, "I am really excited to work in that film because it is important for me. With regard to Varun, I have known him for a very long time and he is delightful. He is a very genuine, hard-working and positive person. It's going to be really fun. Karan [Johar] was telling me the other day that Varun is going to be bouncing off the wall, so I have to calm him down. The film is in a great space and a fun opportunity for both of us."

Katrina earlier spoke to DNA about working with Varun for the first time. She said, "I have known him for many years and he's doing a fantastic job. I admire what he brings to the table. We have always discussed about working in a film together and thought that whenever it happens, it has to be something in this space."

About taking so long to sign a dance film, Katrina had said, "I never sign films for the sake of doing a particular genre. I follow my instinct and choose from the best scripts that come to me at a given time. When this sequel in the franchise came about, it astounded me. I liked the concept and what the makers were planning to do with the story. I love Varun and his energy. I have known Remo for a long time, too. It's an opportunity for all of us to do something special. This is the dance film I always wanted to do."
