Sonam Kapoor - Anand Ahuja's wedding to take place in a bungalow

Well, the two will be getting married in Mumbai itself. According to a report in Bombay Times, pre-wedding functions like mehndi, haldi and sangeet will take place on May 7 and wedding on May 8. Sonam's wedding ceremony will be held at her maternal aunt, interior designer Kavita Singh's 55,000-sq ft bungalow. The wedding will happen in the temple inside the bungalow.

Sonam's family has already put on the dancing shoes for the sangeet ceremony. A source told a leading daily, "Rehearsals have kicked off at Anil Kapoor's Juhu bungalow. The doting dad and mom Sunita will be putting together a special act for the bride-to-be at the sangeet. Sonam's cousins and extended family have joined in as well for the pre-wedding ceremony. They will perform on her hit songs like the Veere title track, Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai from the Fawad Khan co-starrer Khoobsurat, the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo title track, and Dheere Dheere from her music video with Hrithik Roshan, among others, besides other popular wedding songs."

Earlier, about Anand, Sonam had said on a leading entertainment podcast, "Because that's in my control and I don't feel that I can speak about myself but I don't think it's okay for me to speak about somebody else. Now everything that is put out there is with his permission or whatever he puts out there is with my permission. But if somebody is asking me a question publicly I don't think it's okay for me to speak about the person because that person has not signed up for it. This is just keeping it a little sacred. Just keeping it in my control, whatever is out there is in my control, it's not something that is not. I just feel that it's not okay to talk about it. I will share whatever I have to share and that is with my filter."

On the work front, Sonam is currently busy with Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga with dad Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao and will soon begin shooting for The Zoya Factor.
