Today at an event when Alia Bhatt was asked if she has her opinion on the Kathua case the actress said, "Of course, I do have an opinion. I don't think only Bollywood but, the whole country is upset with it. It's a very disgraceful, shameful and terrible thing that has happened."
She further added, "As a girl, as a woman, as a human, as a resident and a part of this country, I feel very bad and hurt."
While the case of Kashmir's 8 years old girl has been the talk of the entire nation the news over the issue is bound to happen each day. And so, feeling disgraceful about the event the actress has stopped reading the news over it to avoid her anger. "There was a time that I was reading a lot (about the Kathua case) but, from last two days, I have just parked it."
I just felt like if I keep reading about it then it is going to make me more and more upset and angry. I had also tweeted about this, "I really hope from my heart that the justice is served." As a part of India we should really go out and condemn this cannot be happening to our country," said Alia.
