Anil Kapoor's HEARTFELT message for Sridevi

Sridevi was not just a sister-in-law to Anil Kapoor, but also his co-star and a great friend. The two had worked together in many films and that's how their bond was a stronger one.

Today, the late actress was bestowed with the Best Actress posthumously for her role as a vengeful mother in the Hindi film "Mom".

While daughters, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and husband Boney Kapoor have already expressed their joy through an official statement, brother-in-law, Anil Kapoor penned down a heartfelt message for Sridevi.

His message reads: "She might not be among us anymore, but her talent, work & memory will live on. Sri was and always will be a shining star in the sky. I know this recognition and this award would mean a lot to her, it surely means a lot to us. So thank you National Films Awards."
