Tamannaah to receive Sridevi Award, shares her excitement

Tamannaah Bhatia will be is all set to receive the Sridevi Award at the Zee Apsara Awards tonight.

The actress who has worked in both, the Hindi and South film industry, will be felicitated for her contribution to the cinema and as a deserving woman achiever in Hyderabad today.

Sharing her excitement, Tamannaah said in a statement, "Sridevi was someone I looked upto during my formative years in the industry. It is such a privilege to be presented an award named after her. I started out really young in the industry just like her and I understand that it takes decades to build a legacy."

Tamannaah played the lead role in the remake of Sridevi's 1983 film "Himmatwala". Her upcoming projects include, "Kanne Kalai Maane", "Naa Nuvve", "Khamoshi" and "Queen Once Again".
