Sonu Sood joins Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan in the 'Simmba' Gang!

After the big announcement of the leading lady Sara Ali Khan for 'Simmba', Sonu Sood is the latest entrant in the film putting an end to various rumors and speculations doing the rounds.

Not only this, but Simmba also marks the debut collaboration of directors Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar and undoubtedly the fresh leading pair of the suave Ranveer Singh and newcomer Sara Ali Khan.

Sonu will be essaying an important character in the film and this film will mark his first association with ace director Rohit Shetty.

Earlier, R. Madhavan was to play a villain in the film which will now be portrayed by Sood. After Madhavan underwent a shoulder surgery, he took to Twitter to express his disappointment over this missed opportunity. He tweeted, "Hey folks .. So I am a huge crazy fan of Rohit Shetty and his films. As is my son. It breaks both our hearts that I'm not able to be a part of this film because of my injury. I'm well on my way to recovery but this is a huge opportunity and excitement lost."

It was also reported that after Madhavan opted out, this role was offered to Abhishek Bachchan but he declined now. Now, finally, Shetty has got his villain for Simmba.  

Reliance Entertainment presents, Rohit Shetty Picturez and Dharma Productions, Simmba is slated to release worldwide on 28th December 2018.
