Anil Kapoor comes in support of Ek Do Teen remake featuring Jacqueline

Jacqueline Fernandez featured in the remake of the popular song 'Ek Do Teen' which originally starred the Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit. While this special number from Baaghi 2 had risen a lot of expectations but all those expectations fell flat after the release of this remake.

The remake choreographed by ace dancer Ganesh Acharya has been receiving negative reviews on almost all social media platforms. In the worst scenario, reports of Saroj Khan the choreographer of original Ek Do Teen being upset with this remake are doing rounds in the tinsel town. However, Khan has refused to comment on the same.

Earlier in the day, Salman Khan who is known to be close to Jacqueline had spoken in her defense and wrote on his Twitter handle, "Loved d song, Jackie has done full justice 2 d legendary moves of Saroj khan difficult to match Madhuri. Nice 2 see Varun n Jackie to our songs makes us proud n keeps d songs alive n fans listening, dancing n having a blast. Makes me proud . Enjoy Karo !"

Now, Jacqueline's Race 3 co-star Anil Kapoor has come in all support of the remake featuring her. Anil was Madhuri Dixit's co-star in Tezaab (the film which featured the original 'Ek Do Teen' starring Madhuri).

Kapoor took to his Twitter and tweeted, "What a momentous task it was to follow in @MadhuriDixit's footsteps, and @Asli_Jacqueline has done it exceptionally! It takes a lot of courage & conviction to attempt to recreate an iconic song that so many people have loved for so long! #EkDoTeen"
