After her act in
M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story,
Disha Patani received rave reviews for her performance in the film. Not only was this a good film for her but it also bagged her the title of National crush of India.
Yes, after her much-popular dialogue 'Mahendra Ji', Patani rose to instant fame and was fondly regarded as the national crush for a long time.
In a recent tete-a-tete with us for her upcoming film
Baaghi 2, we asked how she sees herself evolving in this industry after being almost 4 films old. And then the actress made a never heard before revelation about her self. Disha expressed,
"I cannot judge myself. I hate to watch myself. I cannot watch my own films. I didn't even see Dhoni maybe just once with my eyes shut and I do not want to hear myself. I just perform. My director tells me to do a particular sequence and I just act it out and my work is done. Then I don't think about what I've done. Basically, I do not introspect my movies". Asked whether she is concerned about her films faring well at the box office, Disha expressed, "I do look forward to the collections but it's not like I'm concerned since the beginning. Like thinking about how much we will earn or getting freaked out a week before the release of the film, I don't do all this".
"Of course the first-day collection and after three-day collection I'm concerned. That is purely as I just want to know how it has worked because obviously, it's my film. But I'm not crazy about the numbers", added Disha.
