Currently, Shah Rukh Khan is busy with the work on Anand L Rai's "Zero" along with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. But, soon after completing "Zero" he will start prepping on Rakesh Sharma's biopic which was first to be played by Aamir Khan. However, the actor backed out of the film as reportedly, he felt he isn't the right choice for the film and won't be able to make for the role. While he backed out he strongly recommended Shah Rukh for the lead to the makers.
A source revealed to the daily, "SRK will wrap Zero by April end, after which he will be busy for the next three months prepping up for his character in Salute. He will be doing his own research with his team and studying the nuances to play the astronaut. That's why he's taken a three-month break in between to devote himself fully to the biopic."
He is said to commence the shoot for the movie from September to November, then take a break to promote Zero and get back to work on Salute from January 2019 while the film is expected to release next year.
A source had revealed to the daily, "Aamir strongly recommended the Rakesh Sharma biopic to Shah Rukh as a script worth walking that extra mile for. More so, since Aamir intends to devote a substantial period of his time to a very dear project of his, presumably the Mahabharat, and has stopped accepting any other assignments currently."
Meanwhile, Zero is slated to release on December 21, 2018, but, are you excited to see Shah Rukh as Rakesh Sharma in Salute? Let us know in the comments below...
