Gauri Shinde finally tweets on Sridevi's untimely demise...

The legendary actress Sridevi had made her Bollywood debut in in Julie in the year 1975. However, by then she was already one of the superstars in the south by featuring in multiple films. After her marriage with Boney Kapoor in 1996, she did her last film "Kaun Sachcha Kaun Jhootha" and gave birth to her elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor in the same year.

Post that she did "Meri Biwi Ka Jawaab Nahin in 2004" which tanked at the box-office. But, her ultimate comeback was in 2012 in Gauri Shinde's "English Vinglish". The film was about a homemaker played by Sridevi who enrols in an English-speaking course to stop her husband and daughter mocking her lack of English skills and gains self-respect in the process. However, the film marked Sridevi's return to filmmaking after a 15-year hiatus.

Not so long ago but, there were major speculations and reports about "English Vinglish 2" to be in making. Sridevi and Gauri Shinde had met on January 21, 2018, which was said to be one of the meetings of the duo to discuss on the second part of the film.

While Late Sridevi's family is still in their hard times with such a big loss, the news is not believable to her close friends too. Gauri, after English Vinglish had made a very close bond with Sridevi. While everyone kept talking about her, massive comeback with the film Gauri had kept silent all this while. But, finally, she takes it to her social media account to share a beautiful still of the actress from "English Vinglish" and captions it as, "Sri ... I still refuse to believe that I won't be seeing you next week" (Sic).
