A film that changed my life... says Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt made her Bollywood debut in Karan Johar's film, "Student Of The Year" opposite Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. However, her looks did impress some of them in this film but, not her acting skills. While many defamed her for that and some thought she may not be able to up her game in the film industry and instead will only remain to be a high town girl and a star kid.

But, it was Imtiaz Ali's "Highway" that showed her in a very d-glam avatar where the actress nailed the performance and broke the norm that the star kids are not only into fashion and makeup but, also up for some real work. The film also starred Randeep Hooda opposite Alia.

Alia took to her social media account to share a picture from "Highway" and captioned it as, "A film that changed my life. Will always, always be so grateful for all the love the film got. Thank you #ImtiazAli @RandeepHooda #4YearsOfHighway" (Sic).

Taking a trip down to memory lane Imtiaz shared some series of photos on social media that includes the stills from the film, behind the scenes and his picture with Alia where the duo is donning a black leather jacket that also has a tag of the title "Highway" printed on it.
