The grand director-actor duo has worked with each other in Dev Das" and since then the fans have been waiting to see them work in together in films.
Well, Sanjay Leela Bhansali who is known for his grandeur film sets grand films had worked with the king khan Shah Rukh Khan in "Dev Das" in the year 2002. However, last year, SRK revealed that Bhansali offered him two scripts and he was not sure which one he will be doing.
And now, as reported by a leading daily, Shah Rukh Khan has turned down SLB's films. A source told the daily. "Shah Rukh is not doing Sanjay's film anymore. They had several meetings to discuss the scripts in hand last year, but nothing really worked out. SRK politely turned down the movies that were offered to him."
But, it is said that the duo is still good friends. The source added, "SLB and SRK are both extremely professional. They don't let work affect their personal equation. They are good friends and they remain so. They have promised to work together on something very soon."
Well, we hope thus master duo soon join hands for a film and once again create the magic on screen.
Meanwhile, SRK is currently working on Aanand L Rai's "Zero" that also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead role and is set to release in Christmas 2018.
Apart from that, he is also said to be in talks with Siddharth Roy Kapur for Rakesh Sharma's biopic titled, "Salute". The source informed, "SRK is discussing films with a few other directors and he will green light one, so expect a big announcement about his next film very soon."
However, "Salute" was first offered to Aamir Khan but, after he quit the project, he recommended Shah Rukh Khan's name to the makers to play Rakesh Sharma's role.
But, interestingly Priyanka Chopra is too, a part of the film who was supposed to play Aamir's wife in the film. And looking at their past will SRK even green light this film as if he does according to the script and story PeeCee will then have to play the wife of SRK in the film.
