Earlier "Parmanu" was set to release on December 8, 2017. But, due to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus film "Padmavat" the makers had to shift the dates to February 23, 2018. Now the latest reports suggest that the film will be pushed once again due to the clash of Rani Mukerji's "Hichki" and "Boom Boom In New York" starring Diljit Dosanjh and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles.
As per reports in a leading daily, Parmanu will get pushed further. Talking about it, a source said to the daily, "A three-way clash will hamper the movie's business and nobody wants to lose money. Plus, It was just announced that Pari is coming on March 2, so it doesn't make sense for them to have two films releasing back-to-back. Ideally, the makers want a fortnight's gap in between their movies."
The source further said, "Reportedly, John wasn't too happy to leave the December 8 spot as well. So, it will take a bit of convincing but he should understand the scenario and think about what serves his film best."
While we have to wait for an official announcement from the team, meanwhile, talking about the "Parmanu - The Story Of Pokhran" it is being helmed by Abhishek Sharma. John will even be producing the film under his home productions JA Entertainment along with Zee Studios and Kyta Productions.
