Did Varun Dhawan confirm to be part of Biwi No. 1 remake?

If there's one actor who can thoroughly entertain the audience with his action and comedy is none other than Varun Dhawan. With no flops and only hit films in his career, Dhawan is undoubtedly the most successful actor of today's time.

Varun is a favourite of Salman Khan and we are not bluffing about this. Khan in an earlier interview was asked to name his favourite star and he picked Varun Dhawan. Varun acted in Judwaa 2 a remake of Salman starrer Judwaa and received appreciation from Salman.

Since then the two shares a great bond and fans of the actors also refer Varun's acting skills to that of Salman's. And when reports of Varun being a part of Biwi No. 1 another remake of Salman's movie, everyone looked excited and anticipated. However, there is no official confirmation of the same but strong reports suggest that Varun is taking up this project.

Now, looks like Varun just confirmed this big news. In an interview with HT, while speaking on his upcoming projects, he expressed, "As of now, my next release is October. It'll be followed by Sui Dhaaga. After that, a really big film is lined up. Everything else will happen later in the future".

Our strong guess of the big film he is talking about is Biwi No. 1 remake. Further, he was directly asked if he is doing Biwi No. 1, to which he stated to HT, "Such stories will keep coming out now".

However, Varun further continued saying, "It will be interesting to play such a part in Biwi No. 1. A film on extramarital affairs definitely interests me. There's a lot of matter and content (in such roles). There's nothing worth discussing now. If it's green-lighted, we'll announce it".
