Akshay Kumar to promote "Padman" in 'Bigg Boss Grand Finale'

Akshay Kumar is currently shooting for his upcoming film, "Kesari". The actor and the team will continuously start shooting for it post the release of his upcoming film, "Padman". Earlier last year, a big announcement was made by Akshay, Salman and Karan Johar that the trio is coming with a film called "Kesari". While Akshay will be playing the lead Salman and Karan will be backing the film by producing it. However, soon by the end of the year reports started making the rounds that Salman has opted out from backing the film. While it was then confirmed by the makers that "Karan Johar and Akshay Kumar brings Kesari together."

When Salman was asked in an interview to speak about the same, he revealed, "Karan has his home production and I have mine. He had come to me long back with the project, but he did all the work from casting to everything. I thought just adding my name was not right." However, when Akshay was asked the reason, without giving any he just replied back, " Karan Johar and I are making it. It didn't happen."

With this kind of response from Kumar, it gave much spark to the rumours that Akshay is not in talking terms with Salman Khan.

But, seems like, these all were just the rumours as Akshay Kumar will be shooting with Salman for the grand finale of Bigg Boss. A source adds, "The rumours just erupted as Akshay didn't give any reason or give any importance to it. He didn't want people to keep focusing on the same matter. Everyone was fine when Salman had given a genuine reason for not producing the film (Kesari). Both Akshay and Salman are still cordial to each other. They are much professional enough to respect the decision of each other. Talking about the grand finale, apparently, Akshay will be entering the house and meet the contestants while, not sure if they will have a task or not as it is a grand finale but, the actors will be seen having fun with their own special task on stage. You might see them dancing together," adds the source.
