Aishwarya Rai to pay tribute to this legendary singer in Fanne Khan?

In real life as well Aishwarya is reported to be a huge fan of the legendary singer. A source revealed, "She plays a popular singer in the film and a fan of Lata. You can't escape Lata's influence if you're playing a singer".

The producer of the film Prerna Arora is trying to acquire the rights for a few of Lata Ji's famous melodies. The source further adds, "Apart from a few original tracks, Aishwarya will also recreate a few of Lata's numbers. That isn't the film's only connection with Lata. Anil Kapoor's daughter, who plays an aspiring singer, is named Lata".

In an earlier interview, when Lata Ji was asked that how she felt about Aishwarya considering her a role model in the film, she expressed, "It is good to hear that she is fond of my singing. I think I sang for her for the first time in Mohabbatein. The song Humko Humhi Se Chura Lo was a hit. It's a beautiful melody and Aishwarya looked lovely lip-syncing it".

Well, we cannot hold our excitement to watch this beautiful actress to pay a tribute to the most melodious and amazing singer!

About Fanne Khan, Rajkummar Rao will play Aishwarya's love interest while this film marks Aishwarya - Anil Kapoor's reunion. Actress Divya Dutta will play Anil's wife and nothing has been revealed about Anil's role.

Fanne Khan is scheduled for an April 2018 release.
