Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor starrer "Padmavati" has been facing many troubles since its announcement.
After the protest from Karni Sena and CBFC fiasco, the makers had to put a halt and postpone their release date. Earlier the film was supposed to release on December 1, 2017. However, the film got postponed but, the makers couldn't decide for any release date.
But, seems like, the team might see a positive light soon. If the reports are to be believed, the film will be given a green signal by CBFC today. According to sources from a leading daily, "There's been no official intimation from the producers. Whenever they plan to release it, we will be happy to give them the promised number of screens."
Another source says, "Once the certificate comes, the producers will decide when they want to release Padmavati. As of now, they're looking at January 5 and January 12."
