Last night during the book launch of Rishi Kapoor's late father, Raj Kapoor, Rishi apparently was miffed with three journalists present at the event. However, the journalists were invited by the publishers only. But, according to the reports, Rishi Kapoor asked three journalists standing outside the washroom which was adjacent to the book release venue. When the journalists introduced themselves, Rishi Kapoor reportedly walked off saying, "Muft ki daaru..."
Later, Kapoor's personal security officers reportedly asked the three journalists to leave the hall and said, "Mr Kapoor doesn't want you guys here, please leave."
Following this, the publishers apparently apologised to the journalists.
Meanwhile, talking about the book, it is a tribute to Raj Kapoor by his five children - Randhir Kapoor, Ritu Nanda, Rishi Kapoor, Rima Jain and Rajiv Kapoor - produced by RK Films and Studio and edited and presented by Ritu Nanda.
The legendary was touted as 'One and Only Showman' for his choice of films and performances. While the autobiography uses his own words, culled from interviews, journals and anecdotes, to provide an intimate glimpse into the mind of a genius, the biography is an attempt to record for posterity the lesser-known facets of his magnificent personality through the recollections of his family, colleagues and friends.
