New Delhi, Dec 5 (IANS) Bollywood producer Ronnie Screwvala feels the media and entertainment industry needs "phenomenal and visionary entrepreneurs".
"There are new sectors in India which have erupted due to phenomenal and visionary entrepreneur leaders. The media industry needs to discover them and invite them," Screwvala told IANS here.
"We will not go to the next level until we have five or six entrepreneurs. In the past, we had Subhash Chandra, who did work for television. Today, we need those entrepreneurs. Media needs five to ten entrepreneurs," added the former Disney UTV managing director, who on Tuesday addressed a session at the CII Media and Entertainment Summit here.
Screwvala is the brain behind RSVP -- Ronnie Screwvala's motion picture company, and has a few projects in the pipeline.
He is making a film on blind cricket. Besides that, he is also backing "Uri", which is based on the story of India's surgical strike on terrorist hubs in Pakistan.
He is also co-producing Aamir Khan's "Salute" -- a biopic on India's first astronaut Rakesh Sharma.
